Post Doctoral Research Associate – Plasma modelling/molecular physics
Quantemol Ltd (www.quantemol.com) is a high tech spin-out company from the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University College London where it is located.
Quantemol is one of 11 nodes on the newly launched EU Marie Curie Initial Training Network “Correlated
Multielectron Dynamics in Intense Light Fields’ (CORINF)”.
Quantemol is looking to fill a post doctoral research position as part of the CORINF network.
We are looking for an enthusiastic scientist to work both at developing software and running models.
Candidates should have a PhD in computational plasma physics, molecular physics or a closely related subject.
The project will involve collaboration with the other partners in CORINF.
The position is available for up to two years and will be paid at the UK post-doctoral rate;
the candidate may attract further cost of living and travel allowances depending on individual circumstances.
The job is not available to people who have been resident in the UK for more than 12 months.
